the patterns are up


Yesterday, I started drawing three patterns that I’ve been teaching for years: Crescent Moon, Spring, and Mooka. I wanted to write about a topic close to my heart: the fact that none of us knows what a tile will look like when we start drawing. At least, not exactly.
